Todd Doughty
Todd graduated from The College of William and Mary in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Biomechanics and minors in both Biology and French. Doughty began his athletic career as a Tribe football team member before leaving the gridiron for the Track and Field program. He currently holds William and Mary records in both Decathlon and as a member of the 4x400 relay team and remains one of the best athletes in the school's history. Upon graduation, he coached throws and multi-event athletes at Duke University and his alma mater while training for the Olympics finishing 5th in the United States in 2000. He’s developed a myriad of training programs for athletes of all levels. His coaching accolades include several All-American athletes, Olympic Team members, ACC and CAA Champions. He also served as an officer in the United States Air Force and was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal and Bronze Star while supporting Operation ENDURING FREEDOM in Afghanistan. Meg Wetzel
Meg graduated from Marshall University in 2011 with a BS in Exercise Science. She was a 4 year starter for the Thundering Herd Women's soccer team. During her senior year she helped lead the Thundering Herd to the their first ever conference USA tournament appearance. She was a member of the New Jersey Wildcats Semi-Pro W-league team for two seasons and is now playing for the Central South Carolina Cobras women's pro-am soccer team. Meg is native to Aiken, South Carolina. Growing up Meg played for the Aiken Soccer Club, Lexington Soccer Club, Columbia Football Club, Charleston United, and Carolina Elite Soccer Academy. She was also a member of her age ODP team.Meg trains athletes in both the Edge FAST and Edge 360 classes and spearheads the Edge Soccer Training program developing soccer players of all abilities and age levels.
Donnie Thompson (Mr. 3000); Strength and Mobility Specialist
Donnie Thompson works for Progressive Sports Physical Therapy in West Columbia, South Carolina. He is the Strength and Mobility Director for 22 clinics statewide. He works with athletes and patients who opt for no surgery and patients post surgery. His innovatitive protocols with weights, Kettlebells, Jumpstretch bands and compression are unsurpassed, returning athletes and patients to optimal performance in minimal time.Donnie played football in the Arena Football League for 6 years. After which, he built and operated a commercial health club in Columbia, SC. In 1998, Donnie started competitive Powerlifting and has not turned back. He is the first human to ever total 3000lbs! Donnie has 8-all time World Records in Professional Powerlifting. Includes; 3 Bench Press records, 2 Squat records and 3 Total records! His 3000lb Powerlifting total still stands today. Donnie has wrapped up his Powerlifting career with the chase and success of the 3000lb total. His knowledge collected over two decades in Mobility and Strength have made it possible for him to continue with the heavy lifting to conquer these lifting goals. Donnie travels to many Universities and High Schools throughout the country teaching and sharing his Powerlifting, Kettlebell training and Mobility work methods and experiences to the football teams and coaches.
